This webcast example uses a two panel presentation to display both the speaker and their Powerpoint presentation. Zeitbyte has many ways to integrate additional presentations or media into a webcast. In this case, Zeitbyte used a screen grabber appliance hooked up to the speaker's laptop that encoded the speakers actions to a live video stream.
The screen grabber method allows us to run the Powerpoint feed at much lower frame rates so the video is very clear but runs at a much lower bitrate, which offers a better experience and saves money.
You will notice that this player doesn't have a scrub bar, timers or other elements that you normally see on video players. That is because these types of controls are not appropriate for a live stream. We add these in when we create an archive version of your webcast.
